Terms and conditions

§ 1 Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all orders of the card deck “Traders Tarot – First Edition” via traderstarotcards.com between Sebastian Winzker, Livländische Straße 19, 10715 Berlin, Germany (“we”) and you as the customer. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (§ 13 BGB).

§ 2 Conclusion of the contract

Showing the deck on the website is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to order. The order buttons take you to the checkout of our payment provider Stripe. There you enter your contact, delivery and payment details, can check and correct everything, and submit a binding offer to buy with the final payment button. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email; we send this confirmation immediately after successful payment.

The contract languages are German and English. We do not store the contract text separately; you receive the order details with the order confirmation, and you can view and save these terms here at any time.

§ 3 Prices and shipping costs

One deck costs €55.00. No VAT is charged (small business under § 19 UStG). Shipping is €4.90 within Germany and €9.90 to all other countries of the European Union. We only deliver to addresses within the EU.

§ 4 Payment

Payment is made via Stripe using the payment methods offered there. The price is due immediately when you place the order.

§ 5 Pre-order, edition size and delivery

The First Edition is limited to 250 decks and sold as a pre-order. Shipping starts on 19 October 2026. From dispatch, delivery usually takes 2–4 working days within Germany and 4–10 working days to other EU countries.

If we receive more orders than decks are available, orders are served in the order in which they were received. We will not accept surplus orders and will refund any payment in full without delay. If the shipping start is delayed, we will inform you by email; your statutory rights remain unaffected.

§ 6 Retention of title

The goods remain our property until paid in full.

§ 7 Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. See the withdrawal policy. You can also withdraw from the contract online here.

§ 8 Warranty

The statutory warranty rights apply. Please report transport damage by email as soon as possible; this is not a condition for your statutory rights, but it helps us claim against the carrier.

§ 9 Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the Product Liability Act. For slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded.

§ 10 Entertainment, not financial advice

Traders Tarot is an entertainment and collector's product. Cards, texts and readings are satire and are not financial advice, financial analysis or a recommendation to buy or sell financial instruments.

§ 11 Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

§ 12 Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU member state, the protection of the mandatory provisions of that state remains unaffected.
